Cisco Bug: CSCul73831 - OSPFv3 LSA update does not get retransmitted if nsr is enabled
May 11, 2018
- Cisco Carrier Routing System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: OSPFv3 router may not have the latest version of an LSA in the database. This may lead to various failures - routes missing in RIB, routes present in RIB while it should not be there, etc. Conditions: The problem only happen when NSR is enabled in OSPF configuration. Problem happens when an LSA update does not get received properly (due to CRC error, packet drop, min-arrival LSA interval being hit, etc), and has to be retransmitted. The problem is only present in releases containing the fix CSCtx48538.
