Description (partial)

Symptom:
The configuration of a Qos ingress service-policy not mixing/matching type qos class-maps under the same policy may be rejected with the following error message:

ERROR: Unable to perform the action due to incompatibility: Module 1, 2 returned status "Policies with classes containing combined 'match dscp', 'match cos', 'match precedence' or 'match qos-group' are not supported. Only the same match type is supported between classes."

Conditions:
The problem may be observed when configuring an ingress marking service-policy on a L2 switchport port-channel interface such as in the following example :

N7K(config)# class-map type qos match-any CMAP_DSCP_EF
N7K(config-cmap-qos)# match dscp ef
N7K(config-cmap-qos)# exit
N7K(config)# policy-map type qos PMAP_SET_COS5
N7K(config-pmap-qos)# class CMAP_DSCP_EF
N7K(config-pmap-c-qos)# set cos 5
N7K(config-pmap-c-qos)# exit
N7K(config-pmap-qos)# exit
N7K(config)# interface port-channel203
N7K(config-if)# service-policy input PMAP_SET_COS5
ERROR: Unable to perform the action due to incompatibility: Module 1, 2 returned status "Policies with classes containing combined 'match dscp', 'match cos', 'match precedence' or 'match qos-group' are not supported. Only the same match type is supported between classes."
