Cisco Bug: CSCul71652 - PFMD:Motion thumbnails created when pixalization on non-selected grids
Jan 05, 2017
- Cisco Video Surveillance Manager
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Launch SASD - Forensic Analysis - Motion Video Search will detect motion in regions of video frames where there is no actual motion of the video frames have distortions or other artifacts. Conditions: This condition is observed when motion video search is performed on video which is not of good quality. When there are distortions, pixelization or artifacts in some frames of the video, the motion detection logic gets incorrect data and results in motion being detected even though there was no motion in the actual scene. For the cases where this false positive is detected, the thumbnails generated also shows artifacts in the video which is an indication of the false positive result and the user should ignore these false positives.
