Description (partial)

Symptom:
Error "The eMail address you have entered is not a valid one" when we use email addresses that:
1. Start with a number, or are purely numeric.

2. Contain permitted special characters that are valid by the RFCs.

From the appadmin page configuration
Subsystems > eMail > Email address AND/OR  Tools > Historical Reporting > SMTP Configuration > From email address.

Conditions:
The email addresses configured have the following local-host portion syntax of the address:

1. Purely numeric local-host portion (35674@example.com)

2. Start with a number even when the email address contains alphabets. (35674test@example.com)

3. Contain special characters that are permitted by RFCs 822 and RFC 3696 under SMTP server configuration and eMail subsystem configuration. ('$','+','!','&' , '*' etc in the local-host portion)
(E.g: alice+bob@example.com, alice$bob@example.com, alice!bob@example.com, alice*bob@example.com)
