Cisco Bug: CSCul62658 - Audio mutes for 1 to 2 seconds after a splice
Jun 16, 2020
- Cisco Digital Content Manager (DCM) Software
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Audio can be muted for up to 2 s after splicing back from ad to main stream. During the muted audio, the PTS-STC of audio can be heavily wrong. Conditions: On the MFP board, there are different types of audio streams set for splicing or transcoding. The long series of muted frames can happen for audio types with a frame time longer than the other frame time. E.g., it can happen for Dolby audio (frame time 32 ms) if there are also MP1L2 audio streams (frame time 24 ms) configured.
