Description (partial)

Symptom:
pcrfclient01 VM is hard frozen and is not reachable without reset of VM. A negative impact on the real-time processing of the PCRF functionality of the QNS system is experienced.  User session counts have been seen to drop drastically during this period.  Co-resident VM's on same blade as pcrfclient01 do not experience any issue.

Conditions:
Pre QPS 5.5.2 versions may experience this issue.

/etc/broadhop/logback.xml contains the following appender name....

<appender name="SOCKET" class="ch.qos.logback.classic.net.SocketAppender">
