Description (partial)

When calling from an endpoint (Jabber or TC endpoint) registered through edge infrastructure (offnet) tones or announcements are missing or are incorrect.

The destination number called is typically an offnet extension and call is routed through voice gateway or CUBE/SBC where the tones/announcement are send by the Telco/SP inband with a provisional response like ISDN/H323 Alerting, Progress or SIP 180, 183 etc..

Edge Endpoint (Jabber/TC) --- Internet --- Expressway Infrastructure -- CUCM -- H323/ISDN/SIP --- GTW/SBC/CUBE --- Telco/SP

The issue is seen with ExpressWay X8.1

Collaboration Edge Mobile and Remote No Ringback External calls
Was wondering if anyone has come across this issue in deploying vpn'less Jabber with Expressway E and C deployment.  All internal calls generate a ringback tone, but dialing externally there is dead air till the call connects.  Our deployments are straightforward and there is ringback on all calls when connected via the vpn or internally with jabber.  This happens on both sip and pri calls.  Any help is much appreciated.
