Description (partial)

Symptom:
When a SOAP API user using SOAP API 1.0 tries to request the root location, the returned XML contains an element which is not expected by the client API implementation. The element is "isRootGroup"

Conditions:
A SOAP API call is made using the V1_0 version of the API to retrieve the rootLocation.  "isRootGroup" element is returned as part of the response xml but is not defined in the wsdl/xsd.
