Aug 08, 2018
- Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Malformed IPv6 packets are forwarded after translation by MAP-T when two different Typhoon linecards are used for ingress and egress. (Affects only direction IPv4 -> MAP-T BR -> IPv6) The malformation is on the L2 header, where protocol type was supposed to be 0x86DD and is instead 0x0800. Conditions: MAP-T is configured and ingress / egress linecards are different Typhoons.
