Surface client [window 8 Pro]  is not able to associate when PMF is set as optional

Surface client is not able to associate when PMF is set as optional. Surface should still be able to connect with 11n if it is not able to connect with 11W

  hi, yesterday i have found a connectivity problem on a client (Microsoft Surface Pro) with my wireless network. This is my environment, a cisco WLC 5508 (release and an access point 1600. I found this bug <key>CSCul33845</key>, and after disabled the feature pmf that was configured with option &quot;optional&quot;, the client connect correctly. I don't understand, this feature for 802.1x is not configured, there's only the setting pmf optional, how can the client negotiate PMF without 802.11x flag enabled. ...
