Description (partial)

SIP traffic passing through the ASA 5505 may have two extra bytes or padding not accounted for in headers and not needed. This makes the packets an incorrect size and can cause them to be dropped by other services.

SIP traffic passing through ASA 5505. Packet padding is only apparent with captures taken from SPAN or Monitor session on the switch as the ASA capture shows the correct packet length.
