Symptom: Requirement for ICMP Reachability to TFTP Server is not suitable for high-security environments where ICMP is filtered. Some large clients, including government entities with high-security networks, ensure that ICMP control traffic is filtered. Therefore Jabber Softphone would not be an option for this customer. Seeking an enhancement at allow an alternate means to detect the TFTP server's availability. Conditions: All versions of Jabber for Windows 9.0(x), 9.1(x), and 9.2(x).
