Symptom: Application fault like the following example are send out from the Cisco Email Security Appliance. --- Application Fault sample. An application fault occurred: ('email/quoprimime.py unquote|106', "<type 'exceptions.ValueError'>", "invalid literal for int() with base 16: 'fr'", '[egg/omh.py queue_worker_thread|3619] [egg/omh.py process_item|3770] [egg/omh.py pass_ldapcheck|5195] [egg/omh.py apply_masquerading|4847] [egg/Message.py masq_headers|1865] [egg/domain_masquerade.py split_header|79] [email/header.py decode_header|93] [email/quoprimime.py header_decode|336] [python2.6_8_amd64_nothr/re.py sub|151] [email/quoprimime.py _unquote_match|324] [email/quoprimime.py unquote|106]') MID: 123456789 --- LDAP Masquerading query was removed from the LDAP Server profile, but the Appliance send out the Application fault for the masquerading query. The issue is that the Appliance not removing the relevant ldap query correctly from the listener configuration so that they will stil be checked for the incoming messages. Conditions: Email Security Appliance with AsyncOS 7.6.x or never.
