Cisco Bug: CSCul31761 - Enhancement to use Jabber credentials when authenticating with LDAP
Feb 02, 2017
- Cisco Jabber for Windows
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Jabber for Windows allows a userid and password to be specified in plain text via the ConnectionUsername and ConnectionPassword Directory group element of jabber-config.xml, but it does not allow the Jabber credentials to be used (as is allowed with Jabber for Mac via it's BDIUseJabberCredentials element). Conditions: Jabber for Windows version 9.2, and earlier, with PC's not on the same domain as the LDAP server.
