Cisco Bug: CSCul28358 - UCCE documentation does not mention Win2k3/2k8 mix environment support

Last Modified

Dec 29, 2016

Products (1)

  • Cisco Unified Contact Center Enterprise

Known Affected Releases

9.0(1)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The Staging Guide for Cisco Unified ICM/Contact Center Enterprise should state that you can mix versions of Windows 2003 and 2008 servers on the same UCCE system, for example, AW on Win2008 and Rogger in Win2003. The exception is that for components which are duplexed, the duplexed partner needs to be the exact replica, so you cannot mix Windows versions across duplexed partners.

Conditions:
You can have some UCCE components in 2003 and others in 2008 as long as the Staging Guide for Cisco Unified ICM/Contact Center Enterprise supports these versions. The exception is that for components which are duplexed, the duplexed partner needs to be the exact replica, so you cannot mix Windows versions across duplexed partners.
