Description (partial)

Symptom:
Diagnostics applet icon is missing or not working in application browser on the customers image Cisco1.0.1-455-W11.2.036.01s-PAD. The following image contains custom_gnome add-on which causes editing/renaming of the /usr/share/applications/Diagnostics-wyse-settings.desktop  file depending on the INI settings.

Conditions:
Diagnostics applet icon is missing or not working in application browser on the customers image Cisco1.0.1-455-W11.2.036.01s-PAD. The following image contains custom_gnome add-on which causes editing/renaming of the /usr/share/applications/Diagnostics-wyse-settings.desktop  file depending on the INI settings.

case 1: No INI settings
/usr/share/applications/Diagnostics-wyse-settings.desktop file is there but is changed and its not valid

case 2: following INI settings are applied

Gnome.Hotkey.ShowControlCenter=<Shift>F5

Gnome.ControlCenter.thinuser.applets=custom-sysinfo custom-display-properties gnome-settings-mouse pavucontrol keyboard status-report custom-session-shutdown

Gnome.DisplaySettings.thinuser.Enabled=true
Gnome.SysInfo.thinuser.Enabled=true
Gnome.ShutdownDialog.thinuser.Enabled=true
Gnome.ShowDesktop.thinuser.Enabled=no
Gnome.Taskbar.thinuser.Enabled=yes

File /usr/share/applications/Diagnostics-wyse-settings.desktop is renamed into /usr/share/applications/Diagnostics-wyse-settings.desktop_hidden and its icon is not visible in the application browser anymore.
