Description (partial)

Symptom:
Steps:
1. Uploaded jabber-config-deskphone.xml with
<Policies>
	<InitialPhoneSelection>deskphone</InitialPhoneSelection>
</Policies>

2.On device.cnf.xml on CUCM in Cisco Support Field set  configurationfile=jabber-config-deskphone.xml

3. Deleted local cache
4. Launch Jabber and sign in

Expected: Jabber is in deskphone mode

Actual: Jabber still is in softphone mode

NOTE: Same is happening when do re-launch

Conditions:
Jabber with InitialPhoneSelection set for deskphone in a custom configuration file.
