Description (partial)

Symptom:
Host does not get added to the Nexus 1000v if the 'maximum number of ports designated for the host' is set to less than 256

Conditions:
- The max ports per host can be set manually from Host > Networking > vSphere Distributed Switch > Properties > Maximum number of ports designated on this host. It can also be set when adding the host to the DVS.
- The problem happens only when the max ports is less than 256.
- vmkernel logs show the following messages:
