Description (partial)
Symptom: After upgrading to 6.2.2 via ISSU, the CoPP logging which generally logs once when the said violation threshold is violated, is repeated every 5 mins even if there are no new violation for the class. 2013 Nov 6 16:47:51 switch %$ VDC-1 %$ %COPP-2-COPP_DROPS2: CoPP drops exceed threshold in class: eth-copp-class-monitoring, check show policy-map interface control-plane for more info. 2013 Nov 6 16:52:51 switch %$ VDC-1 %$ %COPP-2-COPP_DROPS2: CoPP drops exceed threshold in class: eth-copp-class-monitoring, check show policy-map interface control-plane for more info. Conditions: NxOS 6.2(2) with CoPP Drop Logging configured.
