Description (partial)
Symptom: The UCS SW/HW compatibility matrix guide outlines firmware 1.7-3 for NIC 82576 for C210/1.4(3)/ ESXi 4.1 but this firmware version doesn't exist for C210 M2. Go to link http://www.cisco.com/web/techdoc/ucs/interoperability/matrix/matrix.html C series stanadlone servers 1.4(3)k,p and 1.4(6)c,d C210-M2 VMware vSphere 4.1iU2 NIC adapter 82576 Manufacturer = Intel Adapter Driver = 3.2.10 Adapter Firmware = 1.7-3 Boot Code / BIOS = 1.3.50 The C210-M2 server requires release 1.4(3)k [or 1.4(3)p with Windows Server 2102]. The PDF for C series standalone has the correct firmware version 1.4(3). THis is creating confusion for customers and CSEs as the customer will think they need firmware 1.7-3 http://www.cisco.com/en/US/docs/unified_computing/ucs/interoperability/matrix/r_hcl_C_rel1.43.pdf Conditions: Go to link http://www.cisco.com/web/techdoc/ucs/interoperability/matrix/matrix.html
