  • ROSA Hardware

Known Affected Releases

4.7.0 4.8.0 4.9.0

Description (partial)

Symptom:
"Device Redundancy Status" becomes "Incomplete" and "Device Redundancy Scheme" becomes "Unknown" when disabling backup while a main device is in backup.

Conditions:
- Configure devices in a regular device backup configuration
- Trigger a maintenance or failure backup on a main device
- Set the "Backup Enable" to disabled on the main device
- The following parameters are updated
  - "Backup Configuration State" becomes "Configured_for_restore_only"
  - "Device Configuration Status" becomes "Incomplete"
  - "Device Redundancy Scheme" becomes "Unknown"

Remark:
Doing the above when having a D9036 1:1 stream level redundancy setup in a SMC environment results in the following
  - Trigger a D9036 device backup => all streams are set into backup on the VSE tab page of the main D9036
  - Disable the backup on previous D9036
  - Trigger a manual restore => streams are still in the backup state on the VSE tab page and are causing DCM TS loss alarms on the MUX DCM + pictures are lost
