Products (1)

  • Cisco Content Security Management Appliance

Known Affected Releases

10.0.0-088 8.1.0-476 8.3.0-000 9.0.0

Description (partial)

Symptom:
When performing a backup from one Cisco Content Security Management Appliance (SMA) to another SMA using 'backupconfig', you may encounter the following error in the backup_logs:

Thu Oct 24 03:47:52 2013 Warning: BACKUP: Errors: ssync errors during backup to 10.103.48.62, Reason: Server denied roaming - errors: 'ssync: Error removing "20131024T073902-slbl.db" from directory /data/pub/slbl_isq_db/:No such file or directory'
Thu Oct 24 03:47:52 2013 Warning: BACKUP: Failed: phase One for the service: slbl

Conditions:
This issue appears to be related to Safelist / Blocklist (SL/BL) updates to Cisco Email Security Appliances (ESAs) managed by the SMA. When such an update coincides too closely with the phase of the backup where the SL/BL is transferred, and error is produced.
