Known Affected Releases
Symptom: DCD and MDD msgs are still matched when cable monitor mac-address is configured to CM's. Reproduce steps are as follows: dt-10k-i3#show version | inc image System image file is "disk0:ubr10k5-k9p6u2-mz.mcp.1026" Reproduce Probability: stably reproduce. 1. Configure DSG on CMTS. 2. Verify DSD message is sending correctly. 3. Select 2 CMs (1 CM per primary channel under MD Cable7/1/0) and configure cable monitor for one of MD interface (Mo7/1/0:0) on the MD. 4. Connect monitor port Te0/0/0 to a IXIA port. The captured packets on IXIA port shows there are 2 DCD and MDD messages received every time (see attached cap file for details). Actually, DCD and MDD msgs should not be matched and captured because cable monitor mac-address is configured to CM's, but not the destination mac-address of DCD or MDD messages in this case. Also refer to attached test log for details. Conditions: configure MAC address based downstream cable monitor to a MD.
