Description (partial)

Symptom:
An F or E port-channel trunk will not activate when trunk protocol is disabled. There is no message issued to assist in understanding why the port-channel will not activate.

The only message received is:

%PORT-5-IF_DOWN_OLS_RCVD: %$VSAN 1%$ Interface fc1/2 is down (OLS received) port-channel 1

Conditions:
Only occurs when "no trunk protocol enable" has been configured.
