Description (partial)

Symptom:
Customer currently has a contact either in Outlook or Jabber that has an extension assigned to the number (i.e. 1-920-204-4020x8000. Instead of Jabber dialing 19202044020..Pause..8000 it dials 1920204402098000, it replaces the "x" with a 9 and the call fails.

Conditions:
Happens anytime there is a number with an extension on the end.
