Description (partial)

Symptom:
IOS doesn't interpret XML representation of control characters Ctrl+Z (), Ctrl+C () specified within CmdActionElement of a Diagnostic Signature (DS).

Conditions:
This is applicable only when you want to execute an action that involves using control action. 

Example:

Router#send *
Enter message, end with CTRL/Z; abort with CTRL/C:
Feature ABC is disabled^Z
Send message? [confirm]
Router#
