Description (partial)
Symptom: Management interface fa1 not passing traffic on 4500 with version 3.5.0 Ping to directly connected interface fails . 45001 fa1 --- gi1/1 45002 On 4500 1 fa 1 ( ip :172.16.168.131) On 4500 2 gi1/1 - access port for vlan 172 int vlan 172 ( ip : 172.16.168.132 ) ping from 45001 to 172.16.168.132 fails ------------------------------ Switch1#ping vrf mgmtVrf 172.16.168.132 Type escape sequence to abort. Sending 5, 100-byte ICMP Echos to 172.16.168.132, timeout is 2 seconds: ..... Success rate is 0 percent (0/5) Switch1# Issue is also seen when gi1/1 is configured as a layer 3 interface Conditions: 4500 running 3.5.0 with fa1 connected to an ethernet port on another switch
