Cisco Bug: CSCul03582 - Rate limiting per envelope sender deactivate prematurely
Mar 02, 2018
- Cisco Email Security Appliance
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: The "Rate Limit for Envelope Senders" feature in Mail Flow Policy allows customer to rate limit "Max. Recipients Per Time Interval". However, the time interval when rate limit is activated, may end prematurely. For example, the envelope sender may only be rate limited for 40 minutes, even the configured rate limit interval is per hour. Conditions: Multiple envelope sender from the same sender host violates the rate limit threshold. * This defect is still under active investigation, and condition may be updated as necessary.
