  • Cisco MediaSense

Known Affected Releases

10.0(1)

Description (partial)

Per the documentation, db_resyhncronization commands must be run on the secondary. Prior to 10.0 the db_resynchronization command did not work, so this only applies to 10.0. From 10.0 on the db_synchronization CLI command works on the secondary as documented.
Post 10.0 we will add an error message when you attempt the command on the primary, but until then running the db_resynch on the primary must be avoided.

Symptom:
If you run the db_synchronization command on the primary nothing useful results and the data is not synchronized across the primary and secondary.

Conditions:
If you run the db_synchronization command on the primary nothing useful results and the data is not synchronized across the primary and secondary.
