Known Affected Releases

6.0.3 6.1.0

Description (partial)

Symptom:
Informatica database port in the connection definition reverts to the default port if the UI is navigated away from, or the connection is saved and re-opened.

Conditions:
Seen in 6.0.3.267 (IE 9) and 6.1.0.385 (FF 24)

Recreate:
A)
1.) New informatica connection
2.) Informatica Connection (tab)
3.) Database type = ORACLE (this also happens for mssql)
4.) Change database port to 2354 (default is 1521 for oracle, 1433 for mssql)
5.) Switch to repository service tab
6.) Switch back to Repository Database, port goes back to default

B)
5.) Connect, successful
6.) OK
7.) re-open INF connection, port is back to default
8.) If OK is selected without changing the port back to 2345, the connection will go down.

C) I could not recreate this in 6.1 as I don't have a valid INF connection to save/load, which is required.
4.) Check override jdbc url
5.) Put full jdbc url inside, including the non-default port number
6.) test and save connection
7.) reopen connection, port in the override jdbc url has changed back to 1521
