Description (partial)

Symptom:
IPS sensor devices' built-in GUI (IDM) contains multiple widgets (UI controls) labeled/referencing "MySDN" which was replaced (on cisco.com) by "Cisco Security Intelligence Operations". The outdated IDM references cause user confusion and should be updated for consistency.

Additionally, the associated URLs these widgets direct users to are also outdated resulting in users being redirected to different URLs (multiple redirects in succession for some), wasting client and server bandwidth and delaying users reaching their ultimate destination.

All references to "MySDN" should be changed to "CSIO", "Cisco SIO", "Cisco Security Intelligence Operations" or an acceptable alternative. Additionally, the associated URL:

 http://tools.cisco.com/go/redirect/search.x

 Should be changed to:

 http://tools.cisco.com/security/center/home.x

 And signature-specific URLs such as:

 http://tools.cisco.com/go/redirect/viewSignature.x?signatureId=1000&signatureSubId=0

 Should be changed to:

 http://tools.cisco.com/security/center/viewIpsSignature.x?signatureId=1000&signatureSubId=0

Conditions:
IPS sensor device running affected version of software on which user accessing IDM navigates to the Configuration > Policies > Signature Definitions > sig0 > All Signatures section. The "MySDN" toolbar button is visible and accessible here.

From that same section, if the user right-clicks on any signature an option "Show MySDN Information" is visible. Clicking either button/option will launch the user's default web browser and direct it to an outdated URL(s).
