MDS 9250i - Traffic failures seen with write acceleration enabled when they are not part of port-channels initially and if user can create more than 12 FCIP interfaces.

Path Table bundles are allocated in the order of creation of FCIP interfaces . The bundle allocation is not dependent on when the FCIP links come up. Hence for the same fcip interface (say fcip22) on one switch the bundle could be 52 and another switch for the fcip 22 interface the bundle is 54. Even though there are , say 12 , FCIP physical ports links between the two switches ( no ports are part of any PC ) , there is only ONE adjacency entry in the FIB AT/DT table. This single adjacency entry , has a bitmap of bundles , which represent the ECMP links and the hash is done on the bundle bits. Since the bundles allocated on the two switches do not match for the FCIP interfaces, the hash result is not symmetric b/w the two M9250i switches, resulting in WA failure
