Cisco Bug: CSCuj92293 - 15.0 Main: Multi Segment fault on sn_slist_remove_by_key on standby ICSR
Dec 25, 2016
- Cisco ASR 5000 Series
Known Affected Releases
This issue is not consistently reproducible and is only seen once in 50+ unplanned switchovers followed by SM task kills. This is some race condition which as per the SSD and core(available) analysis seems to be a rare scenario and hence not a release blocker Symptom: Segmentation fault for pending dynamic rule checkpointing list (sn_slist_remove_by_key) on standby ICSR Conditions: AAA pending slist of instance level dynamic rule is maintained at active and standby and this slist is used to periodically (along with FC trigger) send instance level dynamic rule check points to corresponding AAA. Allocated Index of the instance level rule info is used as the key for this slist and this crash is seen when key/index value gets corrupted resulting in failure of slist remove/insert.
