Description (partial)

BFD Flap in LHR

While sending traffic for same group from 100 different sources, or to 100 different Receivers in different Vlans on LHR.
Issue is mostly seen when there are multiple SVI interfaces in the OIF list at LHR (50 to 100).
BFD flaps once during SPT switchover when multicast traffic is started from the Source for all the groups to which Hosts have joined.
Likelihood of seeing the BFD flap increases when number of SVIs in OIF list is increased, or number of IPMC groups in increased, or number of senders (sources) is increased.
