Cisco Bug: CSCuj88524 - Wrong event logged for system event archive recovered from ASA CX

Last Modified

Nov 21, 2013

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASA Next-Generation Firewall Services

Known Affected Releases

9.2(1.1.48)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
The wrong system event ID and system event description is being logged for the case when an archive of system events is recovered from ASA CX. The expected behavior is that system event 76 will be logged with description text that indicates that backlogged system events have been integrated. The current behavior is that system event 77 is logged, which is the same system event used for archives of ASA CX traffic events.

Conditions:
This issue only affects PRSM when it is managing remote ASA CX devices and will be observed any time that an ASA CX device loses and then regains connectivity with PRSM. The system events are recorded as the backlog event archives are integrated in to the event store on PRSM.
