Description (partial)

Symptom:
For a typical ISL, SMI-S usually returns 2 Cisco_ActiveConnection instances, with reversed order of Antecedent and Dependent:. e.g.

instance of CISCO_ActiveConnection {

   Antecedent = "/cimv2:CISCO_ProtocolEndPoint.CreationClassName=\"CISCO_ProtocolEndPoint\",Name=\"2000000DEC4EFBC0\\\\16834560\\\\1\",SystemCreationClassName=\"CISCO_LogicalComputerSystem\",SystemName=\"2001000DEC4EFBC1\"";
   Dependent = "/cimv2:CISCO_ProtocolEndPoint.CreationClassName=\"CISCO_ProtocolEndPoint\",Name=\"2000000DEC4C9440\\\\16834560\\\\1\",SystemCreationClassName=\"CISCO_LogicalComputerSystem\",SystemName=\"2001000DEC4EFBC1\"";
};

and

instance of CISCO_ActiveConnection {

   Antecedent = "/cimv2:CISCO_ProtocolEndPoint.CreationClassName=\"CISCO_ProtocolEndPoint\",Name=\"2000000DEC4C9440\\\\16834560\\\\1\",SystemCreationClassName=\"CISCO_LogicalComputerSystem\",SystemName=\"2001000DEC4C9441\"";
   Dependent = "/cimv2:CISCO_ProtocolEndPoint.CreationClassName=\"CISCO_ProtocolEndPoint\",Name=\"2000000DEC4EFBC0\\\\16834560\\\\1\",SystemCreationClassName=\"CISCO_LogicalComputerSystem\",SystemName=\"2001000DEC4C9441\"";
};

However, in some cases, there is only one instance returned:

instance of CISCO_ActiveConnection {

   Antecedent = "/cimv2:CISCO_ProtocolEndPoint.CreationClassName=\"CISCO_ProtocolEndPoint\",Name=\"2000000DEC4EFBC0\\\\16830464\\\\8\",SystemCreationClassName=\"CISCO_LogicalComputerSystem\",SystemName=\"2008000DEC4EFBC1\"";
   Dependent = "/cimv2:CISCO_ProtocolEndPoint.CreationClassName=\"CISCO_ProtocolEndPoint\",Name=\"2000547FEEAEDA40\\\\16904192\\\\8\",SystemCreationClassName=\"CISCO_LogicalComputerSystem\",SystemName=\"2008000DEC4EFBC1\"";
};

There is no second one that's with reversed Antecedent and Dependent.
