Cisco Bug: CSCuj81064 - Returning to & selecting 'Enable HA' does not allow HA IC link creation
Jan 08, 2014
- Cisco Virtual Network Management Center
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: When creating an InterCloud link, if you do not check the Enable HA check box in the Configure InterCloud Link screen and instead continue to the Configure Network Properties screen before returning to the Configure InterCloud Link screen and checking the Enable HA check box, you cannot configure high availability on the link because the Configure Network Interfaces screen does not contain the fields for the secondary InterCloud extender and the Next button is disabled. Conditions: This situation occurs with the following sequence of events: 1. The InterCloud link creation process is started in standalone mode; that is, the Enable HA check box is not checked, and the user continues to the Configure Network Properties screen. 2. The user clicks the Back button to return to the Configure InterCloud Link screen and checks the Enable HA check box. 3. The user clicks Next to continue configuring the InterCloud link. 4. The Configure Network Interfaces screen does not contain the fields for the secondary InterCloud extender. In addition, the Next button is disabled, and the user cannot continue creating an InterCloud link.
