Description (partial)

This is a DOCUMENTATION bug for FWSM. This bug is filed for the multicast limitation that is observed under cases where we have large number of vlans configured to receive multicast stream.

Multicast only works with the first 100 VLANS that are passed from the switch to the FWSM. Multicast traffic can be received on and forwarded from the first 100 VLANs configured on the FWSM, but VLANS beyond the first 100 might not forward multicast traffic.

According to Firewall Services Module Configuration Guide, 4.1, Multicast routing on the FWSM is limited to eight outgoing interfaces, however , the above limitation is not documented.

FWSM is configured with 100+ VLAN's, that are passed from the switch to the FWSM and multicast receivers are connected on the VLAN interfaces beyond the first 100 VLANs.

The problem is not triggered by the specific VLAN identifier, but the aggregate number of VLANS passed to the FWSM being greater than 100
