Cisco Bug: CSCuj77153 - Unable to create MEP configuration if LAG configured in CTC
Feb 03, 2017
- Cisco Carrier Packet Transport (CPT) System
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Unable to create MEP configuration if LAG configured in CTC Conditions: 1. Configure TP,PW. 2. Configure one LAG with one member. (like a dummy port. Need not to be in UP state) 3. Configure domain and MA profile. 4. Now, configure MEP. At this point, while selecting the AC port and service ID, we can see that LAG port is enabled automatically even though 'MEP on LAG port' is not selected. 5. Because of this, user wont be able to create MEP configuration, since CTC is trying to configure the CFM on the LAG port instead of the AC port. 6. In IOS, we can see the error message as follows, "ngxp_nms_cfm_mep_set(): Service with Id 2 does not exist on Slot 3, port 1, line: 1627"
