Cisco Bug: CSCuj75427 - Android:Persistent talk group is not keeping context with server/user

Last Modified

Mar 08, 2015

Products (1)

  • Cisco IP Interoperability and Collaboration System

Known Affected Releases

4.7(0.11) 4.9(0.7)

Description (partial)

Symptom:
App wrongly brings the PTT screen display of different server's talkgroup.

Conditions:
Configure 2 different IPICS servers Server-A and Server-B ; Configure User1 on server-A; disp1 on server-B; Configure a talk group CHAT on Server-A and configure a channel Ch1 on Server B.

Login to server-A as user1 and connect to a virtual Talk Group CHAT, PTT and confirm Tx/Rx audio is fine. Logout. Login to server-B as disp1. App automatically brings the PTT screen with CHAT due to persistent TG feature. This TG(Talk Group) does not exist on server-B. User can latch and SIP reconnect works fine too. No audio flows though as this is a fake SIP connection as only the display on PTT screen is misleading.
