Description (partial)

Punted traffic from all mac addresses are rate-limited by EPFT.

When a subinterface is not configured for BNG so that traffic is received on a subinterface like Bundle-Ether10.300, then if we detect a high rate of punted packets, we cannot drop or limit traffic from that mac address only. We rate-limit punted traffic from all MAC addresses and all protocols received on that subinterface. Transit traffic is not affected. With such configuration, EPFT is not well suited for a large scale aggregation deployment as punted traffic from one host could affect punted traffic (DHCP for instance) from all other hosts on the same subinterface.

This is working as designed today but this is a feature request to be able to run EPFT per mac address on non-suscriber subinterfaces.
