Cisco Bug: CSCuj68735 - Feature request to be able to backup and restore all SSH keys

Last Modified

Apr 16, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco ASR 9000 Series Aggregation Services Routers

Known Affected Releases

4.2.3.K9SEC 4.3.2.K9SEC

Description (partial)

Symptom:

Not a bug.

Conditions:

When the RSP is RMA'ed in a single RSP system, it's not possible to transfer all crypto-ssh keys from the old RSP to the new RSP. Public keys from the clients can be reimported but the router will have to regenerate its own keys so that clients will detect a key fingerprint change and will probably refuse to connect to the router until the old fingerprint is deleted.

This is a feature request to be able to export all keys from the old RSP and import them on the new RSP.
