Symptom: Although calendaring is working well, there is an "Unknown error" on Presence Gateway Configuration page, in the Exchange Server Status section, for Account Name and Password Validation. cupadmin log shows the following exception: utilities.ExchangeUtilities - meetingnotification.diagnostics Truststore changed to /usr/local/platform/.security/tomcat/keys/tomcat-trust.keystore utilities.ExchangeUtilities - meetingnotification.diagnostics trying to bind exchange service. utilities.ExchangeUtilities - meetingnotification.diagnostics Verifying credentials failed microsoft.exchange.webservices.data.ServiceRequestException: The request failed. java.lang.RuntimeException: Unexpected error: java.security.InvalidAlgorithmParameterException: the trustAnchors parameter must be non-empty utilities.ExchangeUtilities - meetingnotification.diagnostics Truststore backed to /usr/local/cm/bin/client.truststore actions.ExchangeLinkStatusAction - [ExchangeLinkStatus] Verifying account name and password returning ", "authentication" : "-1 The above error indicates a problem of some kind with trust store. Conditions: CUP Server version 8.6(5) with Exchange calendaring integration. This is seen in 9.1(1) as well.
