Description (partial)
Symptom: Local CA Server is suppose to send three reminders that a user certificate is about to expire. By default the first reminder is sent a 14 days prior to expiration. The second e-mail is sent at half point, 7 days. The final reminder is sent at the last day. However the user is only getting the final Certificate Enrollment Invitation (reminder) at the last day. Conditions: An e-mail is sent automatically to the certificate owner if an e-mail address is specified in the user database. The CA is setup to send e-mail notification to a SMTP server.
