Symptom: 1. Retrieve the SRST references from call manager. 2. Select a site and provision it as esrst. 3. Post successful provisioning If I were to see the ?ip source-address? under telephony-service let us say it is 10.1.1.1 ( this has been configured by CUSM) 4. Now if I manually change the ip source address under telephony service to say 10.2.2.2 ( which is a random ip in my network and 10.1.1.1 was the actual gig 0/0 ip of my remote site) 5. Then I re-provision the site , and after that is done when I check the ip address the ip is the 10.2.2.2 ip address. Instead of the correct ip address as fetched from CUCM and then pushed to the router namely 10.1.1.1 6. While I understand that this is so because the SRST manager is supposed to provision the site not over write or correct config , there is no way for the user to know that the correct ip address has not been put it by srst manager because there was pre-existing config . 7. Ideally the SRST manager should display some sort of a warning letting the user know that there is a conflict in the learned source address from CUCM and a pre-exisiting config on the gateway. Conditions: CUSM release 9.0.4 . Gateway running CME version 8.6 above. Provision a site as ESRST ( so that voice register global and telephony-service are auto configured )
