Cisco Bug: CSCuj53310 - 10GbE V13.0.0 IP input limitations

Last Modified

Jun 16, 2020

Products (1)

  • Cisco Digital Content Manager (DCM) Software

Known Affected Releases

13.0.0

Description (partial)

Symptom:
- In the case of total TS-bandwidth exceeding 9Gbps: Outages on all services.
- In the case of more than 2000 incoming TS: PAT and PMT errors, brief service interruptions.

Conditions:
- The maximum input total TS-bandwidth is 9Gbps. This corresponds to a total line rate of about 9.4Gbps (in case of UDP streaming with 7 MPEG-2 packets per UDP-frame). This is a firm limit. Higher total TS-bandwidth will affect all incoming streams.
- Max amount of input TS : 2000. If more streams are used, input stability issues are to be expected. These issues result in sporadic PAT-PMT errors, and in worst case brief service interruptions.
