- Cisco uBR10000 Series Universal Broadband Routers
Known Affected Releases
Symptom: Detect memory leaks on LC (both on active and standby) after do many times of LCHA. Leaks chunk will show as: AllocPC Address Size Parent Name 2CF54DC 29638274 144 296284D8 (GUARDIAN_IDX_KE) 2CF54DC 29638314 144 296284D8 (GUARDIAN_IDX_KE) 2CF54DC 296383B4 144 296284D8 (GUARDIAN_IDX_KE) Conditions: Continuously do PRE switchover, LC switchover and linecard 'hw-module' shutdown for many times. The issue happened in the scenario of: 1. '(no)hw-module shutdown' will cause the modular host to manage SPA failed to set BPI for DS channenls. 2. LC switchover will recover the inner data of BPI to re-set. 3. 'set failure' will cause the inner DB de-queue but missing release. So that the memory leaks happened. While it happened, only one element (inner data 144 bytes) leaks every time.
