Cisco Bug: CSCuj48446 - Documentation Update: Sprint NIC does not support Release Node

Symptom: When using Release Node in a Sprint NIC Script the route requests won't be processes. The following messages were observed in the Sprint Service: 23:40:16:174 ra-spra Trace: Unexpected OPI message type 0x14 23:45:16:174 ra-spra SPRGATE invalid transaction ID (0) received - entry already removed. 23:45:16:408 ra-spra SPRGATE RouteReq discarded. linkID=2, connID=3, seq#=. Conditions: Sprint NIC any release. The OPIMsg 0x14 is Release, which is generated by a Release node in the routing script. The SprintNIC doesn't handle this message type, and doesn't properly extract the DialogID for the message either, so ALL route requests that are responded in this way are left hanging. Eventually the buffer will be full and route requests wont be processed any more.
