Description (partial)

Symptom:
Connectivity on vlan that's mapped to vlan 1 breaks completely when native vlan on the trunk is removed and reapplied.

Conditions:
Recreate Steps:
===============
1. Remove native vlan 999 on both sides.
2. Add native vlan 999 back on both ends.
3. pings stop working.
4. Flapped the interface.. same result.
If I remove "switchport trunk native vlan 999" and reapply it
