Description (partial)

Symptom:
Redistributing all static routes to OSPF; route-map and prefix-list filtering for some routes does not filter correctly

Conditions:
Issue was seen when "route-map 50" was added to the redistributing router
route-map Static->OSPF permit 50
 match ip address EHO-JUMPBOX IBM-JUMPBOX
route-map Static->OSPF deny 1000

A strange behavior was noticed the above route map was added that 30 E1 routes (that was the actual number of static routes present on redistributing router (Mississauga router). All of them started showing on Markham router (ospf neighbor router) even though only two prefix lists shown below were associated with them each EHO-JUMPBOX and IBM-JUMPBOX and exact valid static route was also present on Mississauga (redistributing) router.

ip route 10.246.137.0 255.255.255.0 10.246.1.254
ip route 10.246.138.0 255.255.255.0 10.246.1.254

ip prefix-list EHO-JUMPBOX seq 5 permit 10.246.138.0/24
ip prefix-list IBM-JUMPBOX seq 10 permit 10.246.137.0/24
